Prof. Miguel Vasco Costa de Salis Amara - Professor at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome (Pontificia Università della Santa Croce). Previously, in years 1993-1994 he worked at the University of Porto (Portugal), and then in years 1998-2000 at the University of Navarra in Pamplona (Spain). He conducts research in the field of ecclesiology, ecumenism and theology of the Eastern Church. He is a recognised specialist in the field of implementing the resolutions of the Second Vatican Council into the life of the Church, as well as their impact on the published documents of the Church's Magisterium. He wrote many papers devoted to these issues and they were published in recognized theological periodicals and monographs. An important area of his research are also issues in the field of ecumenism, primarily concerning the dialogue between the Eastern and Western Church. In recognition of his scientific and personal competences, in 2002 he was appointed as a consultant to the Congregation for Saints. He is fluent in five languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish and Portuguese.
