The Ignacy Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań and the City of Poznań would like to invite to an open lecture entitled: Verdi e la trilogia popolare. The lecture will be presented by Professor Luca Vignali who is a world-famous oboist. The event will take place on 22 March 2016 at 10:30 AM in the Presidential Hall of the Ignacy Paderewski Academy of Music In Poznań at ul. Świętego Marcina 87.
Professor Vignali belongs to the group of the most outstanding contemporary personality of art. He cooperates with prestigious Italian orchestras, such as Academy of St Cecilia in Rome and RAI National Orchestra. He is regularly invited to the most significant music festivals, such as the Festival in Spoleto, Nations Festivals as well as International Settimacurriculumne Stresa Academy Chigiana in Siena. He recorded for the following record labels: Musikstrasse, Bongiovanni, EMI, Fone and Tacus. As Professor, he teaches at reputable universities in the Italian Modena and Udine. He is often invited to jury the most prestigious contests in Europe.
The visit of Professor Vignali will enrich the International Brass Instruments substantial programme not only with an open lecture but also a concert involving the artist, master course. as well as open lessons on the following dates:

Professor Luca Vignali is a world-famous oboist. He belongs to the group of the most outstanding contemporary personalities of art. In 1982 he graduated from studies with honour in the "GB Martini"seminar under the direction of G. Siviero w Bolonii. Since 1980 he is the first oboist in the Arena di Verona orchestra. At that time, he perfected his technique in Perugia with Harold Gomberg. In 1981 he played in Orchestra Regionale Toscana, studying also in Assisi at Lothar Koch, who invited him to participate in H. Von Karajan Academy in Berlin. During his studies in Germany he participated in concerts in Berlin conducted by Karajan himself and other outstanding conductors. In 1984 he won the contest for the position of the first oboist, soloist of the Rome Opera House. In 1986 he won the 1st prize at the International Competition in Martigna (France). In 2000 he received the award "Franco Alfano - Sanremo Classica"for excellent music interpretations. He cooperates with prestigious Italian orchestras, such as Academy of St Cecilia in Rome and RAI National Orchestra. He is regularly invited to the most significant music festivals, such as the Festival in Spoleto, Nations Festivals as well as International Settimacurriculumne Stresa Academy Chigiana in Siena. He performed the most important solo compositions on oboe with the best Italian orchestras, including chamber music along with outstanding soloists and pianists recognized in Europe, the United States, Latin America, Japan and South-Eastern Asia: Y. Bashmet, P. Vernikov, A. Płatna, U. Ughi, S. Mintz, A. Lusterka, A, Lonquich, M. Campanella, S. Bunin. Since 1998 he has cooperated with Salvatore Accardo as well as Italian Chamber Orchestra, with which he toured worldwide, making radio and television registration. In June 2008 he prepared and recorded, for the Fonẻ.Nel record label, the Marco Taralli concert as well as the Alessandro Marcello concert from Sydney Symphony Orchestra conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti
In 2001 he recorded with live Orchestra Mozarteum in Salzburg two Adagias on oboe and strings composed by Vittorio Fael Friuli.
