Wanda Błeńska: "May I never wring anyone's tear"

Wanda Maria Błeńska, born and currently living in Poznan, a doctor who spent more than 40 years in Uganda, healing lepers; during the Second World War, she was bringing help to prisoners of war, inmates of concentration camps, wounded partisans, sick people hiding from the Gestapo; for her activities, awarded, among others, with the Order of the White Eagle, the Order of St. Sylvester and the Order of the Smile.
