SOFTSWISS Supports Animal Shelters in Poznań on International Pet Day

The initiative is part of a global environmental, social, and governance (ESG) campaign that spans SOFTSWISS offices in Georgia and Malta, as well as partner's development centers in Poland. This year's campaign builds on the success of past activities, including last year's shelter support project in Poland, where employees collected over 60 kg of pet food and supplies.

- Corporate social responsibility is not just a commitment at SOFTSWISS - it's a reflection of what we believe in - said Valentina Bagniya, CMO at SOFTSWISS. - As a company, we see true responsibility in supporting the communities we're part of - and that includes caring for animals, who rely entirely on our kindness and protection. Having our partner's development centers here in Poland, we feel a strong connection to the local environment, and partnering with organisations that work tirelessly to improve animal welfare is something that resonates with our team on a very human level. It's not about checking a box - it's about doing something that feels real and important to all of us.

The 2025 celebration, themed "Tales of Tails: How Pets Shape Our Days", combined storytelling with direct support for shelters. Employees were encouraged to share how their pets improve their daily lives. Dozens of stories poured in, revealing the powerful emotional bond between humans and animals.

One of the most moving stories came from Pavel Kaplunov, Head of Content Team at SOFTSWISS, who adopted a kitten after volunteering at a pet shelter last year. I had been courting the idea of adopting a cat for about five years, but something was always getting in the way. Seven months later, she's a beloved member of his household, and he's already planning to adopt a second.

I'm grateful to SOFTSWISS for nudging me closer to my dream of adopting a kitten and for supporting a good cause. The summer we adopted Kiki the shelter was struggling with space for over 300 adult cats and another 300 kittens. Efforts like these bring awareness and, of course, help support the many many pets looking for a home - continued Pavel.

This campaign builds on the company's strong ESG track record, which includes humanitarian aid for flood-affected communities in Brazil and Poland, urban greening initiatives in Warsaw, and efforts to promote health and well-being.
