Promotion of the City of Poznań at MIPIM

Poznań's offer is divided into seven parts: services, residential, residential-services, recreational, industrial-logistic, single family residential and hotel. The most intensively promoted real estate will be Wolne Tory - with the total area of 48 ha. The City wishes to set up therein a new district comprised of residential, service, and educational buildings and greenery. Comprehensive solutions for Wolne Tory are being developed by a specially appointed team.
During the French event, Poznań will search for an investor interested in operating a marina on the Warta river. The City has selected two potential locations for it. The first one is the Old Port of a total area of 20,000 square metres, the other, a site near the Piastowskie residential estate of an area of 10,000 square metres. Poznań representatives will also seek an investor interested in operating a golf course in the capital of Wielkopolska. Such an object is to be of significant importance for the city, both in terms of business and image.
The investment offers of communities associated in the Metropolia Poznań will also be presented at Poznań's stand (Riviera R8.C7). Most of them will be areas for industrial development. As a result, potential investors, interested in logistics or production activities in the area of Poznań, will find an offer adapted to their needs. The real estate of the Wielkopolska Investment Support Center Ltd. will also be promoted.
During the fairs meetings will be held with investors already present in the city. Mayor of the City of Poznań Jacek Jaśkowiak and representatives of the City Hall will among others meet with the president and founder of Orpea, who purchased the building of the former hospital located at Szkolna/Kozia/Podgórna Street - Mr. Jean-Claude Marian. Meetings with representatives of development and consulting companies operating in the commercial real estate market are also planned.
MIPIM fairs are the most prestigious event of the world real estate market, attracting over 20,000 visitors annually. This year's edition will end on 17 March. MIPIM will also be attended by representatives of other Polish cities: among others the Mayor of Warsaw - Hanna Gronkiewicz-Waltz, the Mayor of Wrocław - Rafał Dutkiewicz and the Mayor of Łódź - Hanna Zdanowska.
