The trip to Berlin took place on 17-20 March 2015 and first of all, it served as a summary of the experience exchange among the project participants.
In particular, during that visit the participants listed their experiences in organisational matters related to kindergarten education from both partnering regions and to assessing the quality of work of kindergartens.
On behalf of the local authorities of the City of Poznań, the study visit was attended by: Deputy Mayor of the City of Poznań - Mariusz Wiśniewski and the Deputy Director of the Projects Coordination Office - Grzegorz Kamiński.
They had the opportunity to directly observe methods of work at kindergartens as well as to learn about the functioning of the revitalised areas that are now used to cater to the leisure and educational needs of the Berlin's residents.
During the visit, the project's working teams prepared a schedule of and discussed technical matters related to publishing a paper to summarize the project and discussed contents in terms of merits.
Moreover, project teams worked on the plan of a summary conference, which is going to take place on 18 June in Poznań. It was decided that it will not only be a plenary conference - there will also be workshops.
The issues related to drawing up the joint part of the final report were discussed.
