SOFTSWISS starts the school year with a charity project in Brazilian schools and an environmental project for the children of employees in Poland.

International technology company SOFTSWISS, which has offices in Warsaw and Poznan, has taken its charity campaign to the next stage in support of the flood-affected regions of Brazil. Earlier this year, in May, the company had already provided emergency financial assistance for urgent needs, such as the supply of water, food and clothing. SOFTSWISS has also launched an awareness campaign, encouraging the iGaming community and media to join the charity initiative. The company has now moved forward with long-term goals to help disadvantaged regions.

New water purification system installed in schools

For example, SOFTSWIS has already completed the installation of state-of-the-art water purification systems in rural schools, providing access to clean water to more than 100 students and employees, as well as around 300 families in the area. Further measures are being developed in collaboration with local authorities and with the support of Rubens Barrichello, the company's non-executive director for Latin America. There is a special focus on the educational part: workshops will be organised for students, teachers and the local community. These will address the importance of access to clean water and its impact on health.

As part of their charitable activities, the Polish SOFTSWISS offices attach great importance to information and education. From 23-29 August, a summer camp was organised for the children of employees from Warsaw and Poznań at the Mazury lakes. The main event was a thematic day on environmental challenges in Brazil, including the current problems with access to drinking water. The day included workshops, hackathons and informative lectures. The children also discussed the situation in the affected regions and compared it with conditions in Poland. The event culminated with the decoration of 50 T-shirts that will be sent to Brazilian schools as a sign of solidarity and support from the Polish SOFTSWISS team.

We are delighted that SOFTSWISS Poland is actively involved in this very important initiative. By doing so, we are underlining our commitment to helping both local and global charity projects. Our contribution to support Brazil reflects our commitment to corporate social responsibility as well as sustainable development. We strive to ensure that the company's initiatives lead to tangible positive change in the world. - comments Ludmima Glazunova, Chief Human Resource Officer at SOFTSWISS.

This initiative confirms SOFTSWISS' efforts towards a systematic and long-term strategy to support the regions where the company conducts its professional activities.
