SOFTWISS organised a charity event for animal shelters in Poznań

SOFTWISS, an international technology company with major development centres in Poznań and Warsaw, organised a volunteer project to support animal shelters. The company is actively involved in addressing local and global issues, and this initiative was an important part of its wider strategy to develop socially responsible projects (ESG).

As part of volunteering for animals, the company placed special baskets in its Poznań and Warsaw offices to collect food and supplies needed by shelters. Over the project's first few months, employees have collected more than 60 kg of food, which they donated to shelters around Poznań and Warsaw. Many SOFTSWISS employees personally visited the shelters to provide their lonely pets with company, attention and care. Volunteers spent time with their new four-legged friends, played with them and took them for walks. One employee in Poznań adopted a cat from the shelter, to which he brought food.

Katarzyna Shved, one of the SOFTSWISS employees who took part in the action in Warsaw, shared her impressions:

- It was a great opportunity for me to help those who need it, which is homeless animals. I am glad that our company actively supports the enthusiasm of its employees and organises similar campaigns, as this not only helps the animals but also unites our team around goals that are important for the society in which we live.

Volunteering has received an active response from employees and will be carried out in all locations where SOFTSWISS has offices. The company believes that employee involvement in such initiatives is an integral part of a socially responsible business that helps solve pressing civic issues.

In Poland, SOFTSWISS is developing large development centres in Poznań and Warsaw. In the previous year, the number of specialists employed there increased by 98% and now stands at more than 450 people. In recent years, the company's list of ESG activities has included supporting global and local environmental and health initiatives, as well as charitable and civic projects. For example, this year saw the launch of a large-scale charity campaign to help flood-affected people in Brazil. On the other hand, on the occasion of World Environment Day, SOFTSWISS, together with the Warsaw Greenery Board, organised a campaign to green Morskie Oko Park in Mokotów, planting around 800 plants there.
