SOFTSWISS increases number of developers in Poland by 26%
SOFTSWISS continued to grow last year, with the team expanding by 21% globally. In Poland alone, where the key software development outsourcing centres are located, the increase in the number of developers working on the brand's products was 26%.
- Poland continues to be an important location for SOFTSWISS. There are 840 specialists living here who contribute to the brand's products. In 2025, we will grow the team and invest in the development of local communities, as we see great potential in this region - notes Ludmiła Glazunowa, Co-Chief HR Officer at SOFTSWISS.
Reliable employer status
At the beginning of 2024, the company's product software development outsourcing centres received the Polish Great Place to Work® certification, and in the autumn SOFTSWISS confirmed its status on an international level and was named employer of the year at one of the gaming industry's biggest galas, the SBC Awards 2024 in Lisbon.
- The foundation of our success are the people. It is thanks to the efforts of our entire team that we leave our mark on the IT industry by creating innovative products for online entertainment. I am happy that the approach to taking care of employees - both ours and our partners - has been recognised and awarded twice already this year - added Lyudmila Glazunova.
15 years of success
The key event of 2024 was the 15th anniversary of SOFTSWISS, which, starting as a start-up, has over the years become one of the leading software developers in the sphere of online entertainment internationally - with more than 1,200 customers worldwide already using its solutions.
In the past three years alone, SOFTSWISS has received more than 50 prestigious industry awards, 22 of them in 2024. Awards have been given for software quality and reliability, innovative working approaches, social and charitable projects and marketing campaigns.
In addition to this, SOFTSWISS is constantly sharing its expertise, being one of the first to start conducting complex research in different areas of iGaming, publishing more than 20 industry reports for free over the past three years.
Social and charitable responsibility
In 2024, SOFTSWISS actively participated in various charitable, social and environmental projects. In the autumn, together with local partners, special assistance was provided to flood victims in southern Poland: PLN 64,000 was donated to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, and employees collected and donated more than 100 parcels of necessities to Caritas Poland.
The Help Brazil spring 2024 campaign provided aid to flood victims in Brazil. SOFTSWISS not only provided financial support, but also launched an awareness campaign, drawing the attention of the international iGaming community and the media to the scale of the disaster. The project was not limited to one-off assistance - together with PWTech, SOFTSWISS installed water purification equipment in two schools located in the affected region.
Furthermore, SOFTSWISS joined the World Environment Day event and has traditionally supported the Pink October and Movember initiatives, which focus on caring for the health of employees.
SOFTSWISS also actively develops local professional communities and collaborates with educational institutions. In December 2024, the SOFTSWISS Excellence Talks project was launched. Rubens Barrichello, Formula 1 legend and SOFTSWISS independent director for Latin America, spoke at the first event.
