Phoenix Contact Wielkopolska is one of the largest employers on the local markets in Nowy Tomyśl, Poznań and Tarnobrzeg.

As a high-tech company, together they are creating a sustainable world based on a passion for technology and innovation. The company's mission is to provide solutions to support the development of electrification and automation as a contribution to a world where renewable energy is available for the benefit of all. Innovative solutions and a modern approach to production as well as processes are the main features of 'Wielkopolska'.

In 2022, a Shared Services Centre was established in Poznań to provide technical, IT and financial support services for the entire PxC Group. The company also offers commercial services in the areas of accounting and controlling. In the Shared Services Centre, 12 support areas have been created, including: Electromechanics, Electronics, E-learning, IT, Accounting, Controlling, Communications and the R&D Laboratory.

Following the company's development strategy after detailed research and market analysis, Phoenix Contact's head office decided to locate its Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Poznań. On almost 1,350 sqm of space in the Nowy Rynek D building, comfortable offices have been created for the company's employees. The location on Wierzbięcice Street also means easy access to transport and extensive infrastructure, and the building's management offers many benefits. Smog-absorbing pavements, parking for bicycles with dedicated changing rooms and showers, or adaptation of the building for people with mobility impairments are just a few of the many solutions available. There are also cyclical events for companies and their employees, such as concerts, bike inspections, aroma workshops and free ice cream.

PxCW employees can look forward to many benefits offered by the company, such as private medical care, subsidised transport, recreation and sports activities, as well as a range of training courses and dedicated development paths.

The company cooperates with local universities, including Poznań University of Technology, where the education profiles perfectly align with the demand for staff at PxCW. In addition, a paid Summer Internship Programme is launched every year, where young talents can gain experience and knowledge from experienced professionals and industry experts.
