An honorary doctorate degree for a specialist in nanotechnology
Professor Roland Wiesendanger is renown all over the world - he has given 470 by invitation and plenary papers during international conferences and at the invitation of scientific institutions. He is a member of scientific committees at over 100 international conferences and has directed over 100 research projects, including two ERC grants for outstanding scientists. He is the laureate of 14 international awards for scientific achievements as well as a member of many Academies and scientific societies and associations.
