TOURIST INFORMATION
Poznan has a well-organised network of tourist information offices covering the entire city.
The institution providing tourists with information about the city and the region is Poznań Tourism Organisation. See POZnan.travel
The City Information System (SIM) is very useful for tourists, consisting of a system of signs and information boards that make it easier get around the city and find specific places of interest. Tourists can also use QR-codes located on some objects.

TIPPING
The custom of handing a few extra coins to a driver, waitress, hotel porter etc, acknowledging the good job they've done, is not as commonplace in Poland as in other countries. However, you can be sure that all tips are welcome, especially in restaurants where staff see tips as a necessary part of their income (as their wages are usually quite low). Generally, a tip should amount to 10% of the bill.
