Universities

PUT has got around 150 bilateral agreements with European universities. Each year we receive more than one hundred students from different countries.

We can offer courses in English at all PUT Faculties. Most Faculties offer regular courses in English.  We can also provide the accommodation for all incoming students.

One week before the beginning of the academic year, in the second half of September or February, there is a so called "Polish week". It is an orientation week for international students. During the week there is a Polish language course with elements of Polish culture, free sports activities with other Erasmus students, two trips, one Poznan sightseeing tour and one to some town in the suburbs of our city, and what is the most important you can meet and integrate with other Erasmus students. The participation in the activities is free and not obligatory.

As the continuation of the intensive Polish course, Department of Foreign Languages organizes "survival Polish" lessons during the whole academic year.

There is a student organisation at our university - ESN (Erasmus Student Network). They help international students to organise their stay in Poland. All this action is called Mentor programme.  A mentor student may come to pick you up from the airport or railway station, explain everything during first days after your arrival and help to contact the Departmental Coordinator at the Faculty. Apart from that ESN organises a lot of parties, trips or suppers for Erasmus students during the academic year.
