Access by air

Poznań's Ławica Airport offers regular local and international links to and from many European capitals and other major cities of the continent.

These include the capital cities of Berlin, Dublin, Copenhagen, London, Oslo, Stockholm, other foreign cities such as Barcelona, Bristol, Doncaster, Dortmund, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Frankfurt am Main, Glasgow, Liverpool, and Munich as well as the Polish cities of Warsaw and Kraków. The links are operated by such well-established airlines as LOT Polish Airlines, Lufthansa, Scandinavian Airlines, Jet Air and the budget airlines: Wizz Air and Ryanair.

The operators will offer additional flights and larger aircraft during COP14. Poznań's Ławica Airport is located some 7 kilometers from the city centre, which facilitates arrival and departure. The airport is reachable by bus, including the lines L and H running (during the conference) from the city centre. Arrivers may take a taxi from the taxi rank at the terminal entrance. A taxi ride from the airport to the conference venue costs ca. PLN 30.


Access by rail

Poznań is a major railway node offering easy domestic and international access. It can be reached within three hours either from Berlin or from the equally distant Polish capital city of Warsaw.

The railway station stands in the city centre near the grounds of the Poznań International Fair.

Trains arriving in Poznań stop at the Central Station made up of two buildings, the Main Hall and Central Station West, linked by an underground tunnel. The facilities house retail outlets, cafés and restaurants as well as travel-information and Internet-access points. The Station is located within five minutes' walk from Conference Venue.


Access by road

Poznań lies on a number of national and international roads. It can be accessed by A2 Motorway, or National Roads 92 (East-West) and 11 (North-South).
