Leaders & HR 4 Equality. Sow equality, build the future.

Poznań once again became the venue for key conversations, this time about equality and diversity. The Leaders & HR 4 Equality - Diverse paths to equality in practice conference brought together male and female leaders, representatives from business, academia and community organisations. The aim of the event was to seek solutions for a more inclusive tomorrow.

Creating a better future
"The best way to predict the future is to create it' - this quote by Peter Drucker became the motto of the conference participants. They discussed how to bring about real change in organisations and communities, strengthening gender equality, work-life balance and countering discrimination. The event inaugurated the project "DIFFERENT WAYS TO EQUALITY - A MARKET OF EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES', which promotes equal opportunities in the labour market in Wielkopolska.

True Equity Awards
An important highlight of the conference was the presentation of the True Equity Awards for activities supporting gender equality. The winners were:
- ANIA KRUK Jewellery (employer with up to 250 employees),
- Volkswagen Poznań (employer with more than 250 employees),
- Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (public institution).
Their achievements show that diversity translates into tangible benefits for communities, employees and organisations.

Equality is a common cause
The conference emphasised that gender equality concerns everyone and that building a Gender Equality Partnership requires the involvement of both women and men. "Equality is not just a topic to talk about. It is a goal we can achieve together,' the organisers concluded.
A unique element of the event was Marta Frej's exhibition, which presented 16 works by the artist. The moving prints sparked reflection on the challenges of equality and inspired the participants.
The organisers took care of the excitement and integration of the participants. The grand prize, awarded for winning the quiz, was a voucher for a dedicated webinar on inclusive language and a prize pack from SENSE consulting. Those who were active in the discussions and games could count on additional gifts, donated by partners: Solar Company, Walutomat, W. Legutko and the Entrepreneurial Women's Club.
The conference was organised by SENSE Consulting and co-organised and partnered by the Museum of Women's History, Czas Kobiet Foundation and Ja, Nauczyciel Foundation.
The conference showed that equality is not a one-off action, but a daily effort that inspires and calls for building a better world.
