City of Poznań and Poznań University of Economics have the pleasure to invite all of you to lectures of László Andor, Ph.D. - former European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion and former Associate Professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest. Currently, Dr. László Andor lectures at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin and at the Université Libre in Brussels.
Dr. László Andor will visit Poznań University of Economics on 18 May 2015:
11:00-12:30 - informative lecture concerning Cohesion and convergence in Europe. The meeting will take place in Main Building of Poznań University of Economics, room 236;
15:00-16:30 - open lecture concerning Fair mobility in the European Union. The meeting will take place in Centrum Edukacyjne Usług Elektronicznych (Educational Center of Electronic Services), room 06.
László Andor, Ph.D., is the former European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion and the former Associate Professor at the Corvinus University of Budapest. He is also a member of Advisory Council of the European Policy, Centre Board of Advisors of RANDEurope, as well as the Board of Trusties of Friends of Europe. In the past he was also a member of the Board of European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. He is the author and co-author of several monographs and scientific research articles. His publication - Hungary on the Road to the European Union: Transition in Blue can be found in collection of 1126 libraries in many countries all over the world.
In 2014, Dr. László Andor was decorated with National Order of the Legion of Honor, and in April 2015 he received the prestigious Labor Mobilis award. Open lecture of Dr. Andor will be precisely dedicated to the issue of international mobility of people within European Union.
