Poznań is located in the western part of Poland, exactly halfway between Berlin and Warsaw. The city's location makes it an important railway, road and air hub.
A rail journey from Poznań to both Berlin and Warsaw takes approximately 2 hours 30 minutes. In addition, the development of the Poznań Metropolitan Railway enables quick and comfortable access to the city centre from the surrounding towns.
Poznan's unquestionable advantage is the international airport Poznań-Ławica, located within the city limits, from which one can directly fly to four continents - to the most important cities in Europe (London, Copenhagen, Munich, Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Dublin and Warsaw), but also to Asia, Africa and America. The airport offers more than 80 scheduled and charter flights.
Poznań is a compact city with modern public transport. Currently, Poznań has 20 tram lines (18 daytime and 2 nighttime) and 70 bus lines (48 daytime and 22 nighttime).
In addition, there are several hundred cars, motor scooters and electric scooters available for hire by the minute in the city.
