Old Zoological Garten

Description

The old zoological garden (its area covering 5.2 ha) was created in 1871. Today, owing many old trees growing within its grounds, it is an important ecological factor in the centre of the city. The zoo features some interesting examples of small architecture and visual arts.

From July 1st 2009 admission is free. Tickets are needed only to enter the reptile and amphibians exhibition.

January-February 9am - 4pm, cash desk: 9am - 3pm
March, October 9am - 5pm, cash desk: 9am - 4pm
April - September 9am - 7pm, cash desk: 9am - 6pm
November-December 9am - 4pm, cash desk: 9am - 3pm
