The organisators of the Dragon Boat Race Festival for the Fans of UEFA EURO 2012 would like to thank everyone whodesided to spend this Sunday with us.
Despite cloudy weather ten crews participated in the competition. Although not all teams registered presented at the start, two more Irish teams organised themselves and took part in the race instead.
At the start presented themselves the teams:
PANGEA - respresenting a mixed team from USA and Scandinavia
Rhytmic Reaction - USA
Posnania Rugby - Poland
Gracie Barra - Poland
Dracullino Team - Poland
Boys in Green - Ireland
Team of Garry Breans - Ireland and United nations
City of Poznań - Poland
DRAGONFLY - Poland
Drugs Dragon - Poland
After the very exciting semi-final in the final race we could see the teams: PANGEA, Posnania Rugby, Draculino Team and Gracie Barra.
The final results are:
First place Posnania Rugby - 1:03,24
Second place Draculino Team Poznań - 1:04,42
Third place Gracie Barra Poznań - 1:06,55
Fourth place PANGEA - 1:06,70
The medals and prizes to the three first teams were presented by the Mayor of Poznań Mr Ryszard Grobelny.
